Pre-completion Inspection
Pre completion inspections, or PCIs, are performed throughout the areas covered by Build Snag, in accordance with the most recent standards and format established by the NHQB (the New Homes Quality Board). This was introduced in 2022 to provide homeowners with a surveyor-completed checklist that enumerates the property’s condition prior to their move in. Developers used to frequently deny us permission to conduct snagging surveys, but the New Build Ombudsman altered this (along with other regulations) and made it mandatory for developers to abide with them.
