FAQ

Below, you’ll find our frequently asked questions regarding home snagging lists and property inspections.

What is Snag?

A snag refers to an overlooked aspect or problem during a building’s construction, either missed by the builder or executed incorrectly. Over time, if left unaddressed, this issue can potentially worsen, leading to additional problems and complications.

Can I ask questions to the person doing the survey?

Absolutely! Feel free to ask any questions you may have. During your visit, we’ll address any issues and ensure you’re fully informed for when the build contractor arrives.

How long does the survey take?

This will depend on the size of your property. Our home inspections surveys are comprehensive and take on average 2– 4 hours.

Can I pay by credit card?

Certainly, we accept all major credit cards and debit cards.

Can my property be snagged before we move in?

Of course! The inspection can take place either before or after your move-in. If you prefer an inspection before you take possession, there needs to be an agreement between you and the developer to authorise our access.

What if I do not have a confirmed date yet?

Feel free to select a tentative date, and once you have confirmation of your move-in day, kindly inform us, and we’ll make the necessary arrangements to accommodate your needs.
